Over $30,000 in 11 Open Scholarships at TMCF

TSU is a TMCF member school. Several of the scholarships have deadlines of July 17, 2026, and others have deadlines of December 1, 2026.

Warning: When I used bing.com, the AI Overview said there were no TMCF scholarships. The overview was incorrect, so this is a lesson to go beyond the AI Overview and click the links to see if what AI surmises is true.

$1,500 Scholarship, D: July 25 open to college students and Two Law Scholarships

I learned about this scholarship from Dave the Scholarship Coach’s Your Daily Scholarship email.

$1,500 Sutliff & Stout “First Step” to Distraction-Free Driving Scholarship, D: July 25, 2026

Selected criteria from website:

“In an effort to reduce the devastating consequences of distracted driving among young drivers, the lawyers at Sutliff & Stout are offering a $1,500 scholarship to students.

What Should the Essay be About?

We are asking students to write an essay of at least 500 words detailing their most common distracted driving habits, and to describe the concrete steps they will take to put an end to those habits.

We want to encourage students to examine their driving habits and identify ways in which they commonly become distracted behind the wheel. These could include obvious examples such as texting, tweeting, or changing music, or a less obvious example like turning to talk to friends or simply playing the music so loudly that they cannot hear other vehicles.

Next, we want students to consider and document concrete steps to ending those distracted driving behaviors.

Winner will be selected and notified no later than August 1, 2026.

Applicants must be EITHER out-going high school seniors (graduating summer 2026) and entering a college, trade school, or university OR students currently enrolled in a college, trade school, or university as of the start of the fall 2026 semester.”

How I Found this Scholarship

https://nodebtcollege.substack.com

I signed up for Dave “The Scholarship Coach” Peterson’s daily Scholarship GPS email, which sends me a new scholarship every day. Dave helped his son receive about $100,000 in scholarships.

The newsletter does advertise courses he has created and advertisers offering services geared toward parents who have students entering college. Do your own due diligence before purchasing any product.

Other Scholarships Offered by Sutliff and Stout

On the above Sutliff and Stout website, I saw they were sponsoring two other scholarships geared toward law students.
