Selected criteria from webpage:

• The Second Chance College Scholarships Contest is open to citizens and aliens legally residing in the USA with High School Diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Scholarship funds are payable to the winner’s college/university or certified trade school in the United States; the winner must enroll or already be enrolled for the Fall 2025 or Spring 2026 session.
• Winner selection is NOT based on financial need, GPA, or demographic criteria.

Submit an entry form along with taking an 8-question exam about fire sprinkler safety. You read about fire sprinkler safety as you go along, using the information to complete the exam.

The following description comes from How2WinScholarship’s website: “Open to current U.S. college sophomores who plan to enroll full-time in their junior year of study at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States in Fall 2025.

Eligible students are finishing their sophomore year in Spring 2025.

Applicants should be considered “juniors” based on the total number of earned credits at their institution by Fall 2025 or having two years of full-time enrollment remaining before earning their Bachelor’s degree. (Or transferring from a two-year to a four-year college for their 2025-2026 junior academic year.)

Students must demonstrate financial need—this is calculated using a similar formula to the FAFSA.
