The top ten applications will be selected to write a 500 to 1,000 word essay about text while driving. The top essay will receive a $1,000.

“Who may apply: You must be a high school freshman, sophomore, junior, or senior or a current or entering college or graduate school student of any level. Home schooled students are also eligible. There is no age limit. You must also be a U.S. citizen or legal resident.”

DoSomething.Org is for people ages 13-25 and encourages young people to do something, to complete social action through campaigns.

Scholarships and opportunities are ongoing throughout the year, some times as much as $10,000.
