“The BBG Communications scholarship is designed for students between the ages of 16 and 21 who are currently in or will be attending an institution of higher education in the Fall of 2017.

 Value: $500

Deadline: June 30, 2017 (11:59 ET)

 

To be considered eligible for the BBG Communications Scholarship you must:

  •  Be between the ages of 16 and 21 on June 30, 2017
  • Submit answers to the two essay questions, which can be found on the application page, prior to the June 30, 2017 deadline
  • Have at least one full year of post secondary studies remaining at the time of the award
  • Have a GPA of 2.5 or greater.
  • Be a citizen of the United States or Canada

The scholarship winner will be announced on or around August 30, 2017 and will be posted on this website immediately after. All applications must be received by 11:59pm ET on June 30. No late applications will be reviewed.

“16 years or older in their state of legal residence on or before their entry into the Promotion. Such individuals must be a legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia as of June 01, 2017.

The text must exceed 200 words and must not exceed 900 words.

All essays must address the specific promotion question presented during Promotion Period, must be original, must not have been previously published, released, or distributed, and must have been created and must be owned exclusively by you

Content must not be of an offensive, explicit, negative, or controversial nature.

Essay must follow an organized, multiple-paragraph format.

Essay must exhibit the standard rules of grammar & mechanics.”

 

The next essay contest is open from July 1-15, 2017, and then you promote your essay. It looks like the essay with the most votes wins.

The Hammock Expert Scholarship Program

At The Hammock Expert we recognize that the investment in knowledge pays the best interest for the future. That is why we are excited to announce the creation of an annual college / technical school scholarship for high school, undergraduate and graduate students. Each year we will award up to $6,000 in scholarships, in $1,500 increments, to deserving students that are looking to be successful in life.

 

Scholarship Details

  • $1,500 annual scholarship (one time)
  • 4 scholarships available every year (2 per semester)

 

Submission:

To be eligible, applicant must have a minimum 2.8 cumulative GPA (High school or university) and submit a 1000-1500-word essay answering the following question:

  • How do you see technology impacting the world around us in the future and where do you see yourself in this future?

All final essays should be submitted to paul@thehammockexpert.com. Please direct any scholarship questions to our Human Resources Department at hr@thehammockexpert.com.

 

Terms and Conditions:

  • The Hammock Expert Scholarship award will be paid directly to the student with an .edu e-mail or HS e-mail (will need to provide HS proof if HS does not have own email).
  • The funds from this scholarship are to be used solely for tuition, books, supplies and any additional fees required for students’ course work.
  • After the winner is chosen, enrollment and GPA qualifications will be confirmed.
  • If applicant does not meet the stated requirements, the award will then be given to the next eligible runner up.”
