Many people believe that you must have a high GPA to receive a lot of scholarships.
The truth is, you don’t. Many scholarships don’t require a GPA at all. They are more based on a skill you can show off, like drawing or writing or composing music or creating a video.
Felecia Hatcher, author of The C Students Guide to Scholarships, received over $130,000 in scholarships and grants in free money for college, mostly by pursuing these types of scholarships for creatives.
Here are three scholarships that require only writing an essay. Remember, if you are a TSU student/staff/faculty, you can receive help from the TSU Writing Center.
