All the following scholarships require a 3.0 GPA.
The deadlines are soon, so explore and see what opportunities you want to take advantage of.
One is for entering freshmen (Panda Cares First-Year Scholars 2020), one for college freshmen who will be sophomores in Fall 2020 (Up to $15,500 Panda Cares Scholars Program 2020), one for entering freshmen all the way to college senior ($15,000 TMCF | McDonald’s Black And Positively Golden Scholarships), and one for any current college student ($1,000 The Clubs of America Scholarship Program).
These are arranged in the order of deadline date, the nearest deadline first.
You must be a current college freshman who begin college in fall 2020 as a college sophomore.
Up to $15,500 Panda Cares Scholars Program 2020, D: July 1, 2020
Accepting applications from current college freshmen who will begin college in fall 2020 as a college sophomore.
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Be a citizen, legal permanent resident, or national of the United States
Have a minimum of 20 hours of Community Service
Have demonstrated financial and unmet need as measured by the student’s college or university
Permanent address in one of states listed below: Alaska, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, District of Columbia, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, Oklahoma, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Puerto Rico, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin

Up to $15,000 TMCF | McDonald’s Black and Positively Golden Scholarships, D: July 6, 2020
Eligibility requirements:
- Must be 18 years old or older.
- Be enrolled full-time as a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at TMCF Member-Schools during the 2020-2021 academic school year.
- For Incoming Freshman – Provide proof of acceptance into or enrollment at a TMCF member-schools as an incoming freshman during the 2020-2021 academic school year.
- Current cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
- Able to demonstrate leadership abilities.
- Able to demonstrate a financial need.
- Be a U.S. Citizen or legal permanent resident with a valid permanent resident card or passport stamped I-551.

Panda Cares First-Year Scholars 2020, D: July 6, 2020
You must be a graduating high school senior planning to enroll in fall 2020 as a full-time, first-year student at an accredited U.S. located four-year college or university
From website: “The Panda Cares First-Year Scholars Program is a one-time postsecondary scholarship and college success program for graduating high school seniors entering their first year of college.

Any current college student of an accredited U.S. college or university with a cumulative GPA of at least 3.0 is welcome to apply.
How to Apply
Eligible students will:
- Write an essay of no fewer than 600 words about your career aspirations and how your current studies will help you achieve success in your career. Where do you see yourself 10 years from now? Thinking outside the box is encouraged!
- Email your essay as a .doc or .pdf attachment to: scholarship@greatclubs.com
- YouTube submissions are optional, although not required. Video should be no longer than 5 minutes. (Essays submitted via YouTube must also be submitted in writing.)”

If you want to sign up for a scholarship coaching session, sign up for Mr. Mike Turner, where we will look for scholarships, internships, and other opportunities for you. You don’t have to have a 3.0 GPA because there are many scholarships that require no GPA or a lesser GPA.
