Scholarships Galore and Writing Help from the TSU Writing Center—more than $10,000 in scholarships

 TSU Foundation Scholarships–Potentially thousands for TSU students-Deadline: Mar 31, 2020! Hurry! 

 One student who got help from the TSU Writing Center received $3,000 from a TSU Foundation scholarship last year. 

You can make your application stand out by 

  • if an organization you volunteered for is unfamiliar, then give a brief description for the organization 
  • think of 2 or 3 highlights of what you did for each organization you list 
  • work on your application a little at a time in 15, 30, and hour slots—schedule your success 
  • have tutors in the TSU Writing Center review your application and short answer essays to make them stand out and improve your chances.

To apply for this scholarship, you will need to write an essay of less than 1000 words on the topic below:

Describe the three characteristics of leadership you value most.  Discuss why you believe that these traits are so important and how you feel that they are developed in an individual.”
