$10,000 Bristol-Myers Squibb Scholarship for Cancer Survivors, D: April 1, 2020

Applicants to the Bristol-Myers Squibb Scholarship for Cancer Survivors award must:

  • Be cancer survivors*, age 25 and under, who are high school seniors or graduates or current post-secondary undergraduates.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.
  • Have a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale (or the equivalent).

*Applicants will be asked to provide a personal impact statement describing the impact cancer has had on their life.

Finalists will be asked to provide a Diagnosis Verification Form completed by a physician attesting to applicant’s diagnosis.”

  • Can High School Seniors, who will be attending college next year, apply? Yes!
  • Can Masters and Doctorate students apply  Yes!
  • Can International students apply?   If you are attending a US-based school, yes. If your college is outside the US, you cannot apply at this time.
  • What do we mean by “app”?   We mean any mobile or web-based application. This includes things like Instagram, Snapchat, Google Maps, etc.
  • How is the award distributed?  Funds will be sent directly to the winner’s school.

Selected criteria:

Applicants of Future of School Scholarship Program must:

  • Be high school seniors (U.S. Citizens) who have completed a minimum of five (5) blended or online courses during their last two years of high school who will be graduating in the spring or summer of 2020.
  • Demonstrate academic achievement or personal improvement as a direct result of their enrollment in the blended/online learning curriculum.
  • Plan to enroll in full-time undergraduate study at an accredited two-  or four-year college, university or vocational-technical school for the entire upcoming academic year.”
