Unigo.com has a scholarship every month, some from $1,500 all the way to $10,000. Most require a 250 or less short answer as well as completing a scholarship profile.

These scholarships are offered to people who are “thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of application,  legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia, and currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2022) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education” (from website).
