Scholarship Tigers–Students Helping Each Other Find Money for College

The Women of Empowerment 2010 Scholarship, sponsored by the National Association of Colored Women’s Clubs, Inc, has a deadline of Wednesday, November 17, 2010 by noon.

This scholarship is open to all TSU students, and you must answer the following essay question.

“The quality of a university is measured more by the kind of student it turns out than the kind it takes in.”—Robert J. Kibbee

Being that Tennessee State University is a HBCU, do you think this university has helped women and men from the past  to the present, moving toward the future and why?

Guidelines: Typed, 500 words; fully answered; double spaced.

Scholarships applications are once again available at the information desk in the TSU Student Center.

Submit essay with a completed application form in an envelope by 12 noon, December 17, 2010.

If the information desk is out of applications, see Mr. Turner in the Computer Lab, LRC 123B. I have a few.
