Scholarship Tigers–Students Helping Each Other Find Money for College

Several scholarships and their deadlines are approaching. Some of these apply to students still in high school, so share them with brothers, sisters, and friends. As you help others, so you will be helped.

“Do Over” $1000 Scholarship

Five scholarships of $1,000 each, Deadline: Aug. 31, 2010

ScholarshipExperts.com is again offering the ‘Do Over’ Scholarship and will award five scholarships of $1,000 each. Applicants must: 

Be thirteen (13) years of age or older at the time of application

Be legal residents of the fifty (50) United States or the District of Columbia

Be currently enrolled (or enroll no later than the fall of 2016) in an accredited post-secondary institution of higher education

Submit an online short written response (250 words or less) for the topic:  “If you could get one ‘do over’ in life, what would it be and why?”

This list includes scholarships open to students in high school and some in college.

Discus Awards is open to high school students and a $2,000 scholarship is offered every month.

The Discus Awards, which rewards all-around high school students for their achievements in a variety of attributes, offers a $2,000 scholarship to one of its winners each month of the school year.

Nominations must be received by the last day of the current month to be eligible for the following month’s scholarship so nominate yourself now for an award and scholarship.

The Discus Awards scholarship rewards total $20,000 each year.”
