I Don’t Have Time to Enter This Scholarship
If you fit the qualifications, you will notice that the deadline for this scholarship contest is 11:59 pm Central Time, on Tuesday, March 31, 2026.
There are three more times you can enter this scholarship in 2026, so you could try again later.
Also, you could try and apply and see what happens!
You can visit the website above, and the further you go down the page, you will notice that the scholarship essays or videos that won $8000 in 2025 are posted.
You can read and watch a few to demonstrate to yourself that it is possible.
Also, you can set aside some time and freewrite or mindmap for 5 minutes about people who are from your community who have inspired you.
And then spend another 10 minutes focused on one person, listing how they influenced you, how do they carry themselves in the world, anecdotes from your life and theirs that demonstrate their positive influence on you.
Construct a 500 word or less essay or a video of 3 minutes or shorter in length and no larger than 1 GB.
Enter before the deadline, and now, you have completed the task.
Also, if you have time, you can bring your essays (your videos too if you want to show us or have us give you constructive feedback), in person or online, to the AARC Writing Center at TSU.
The AARC Writing Center at TSU assists students, faculty, staff, and alumni of Tennessee State University.
